So Anasounds first released their 3-knob analog-voiced delay pedal back in 2015. It rose quickly to become their best-selling pedal - and remains so to this day. One of the trickiest thing you can do - as vouched for by none other than Joshua Heath Scott - is to create a tap-tempo function for an analog style / or PT2399 delay. In fact it took Anasounds’ engineers 3 years to perfect - to the most exacting of standards. And the results of said exercise is not just the 6 control knobs, twin toggle-switches, and twin-footswitches Utopia Deluxe - but also a limited edition more experimental take on that circuit in the form of the Dystopia.
Both pedal have identical control topologies - while the interior circuits branch off into different directions - so that the Utopia retains its warm classic roots, while the the Dystopia is its messier and more rambunctious dirtier brother!
You can order the Dystopia (€349) and Utopia (€299) right now from the Anasounds Webstore.
Remember that the Dystopia is strictly limited - and only available until December 17th!
"The Utopia Deluxe undergoes a change and is beyond expectations. It aims for the sound of a tape echo and the good old analog delays. It has a tap tempo with subdivisions, a Tape Preamp inspired preamp which is chained before the delay effect, some presets of modulations - for the the clearest and the most versatile delay."
