The TWA LF-01 Ladditude - turns your instrument into an analog synth via the combination of Classic Resonant Filter and a Proprietary Optical Envelope-Detection Circuit.
"Whether it’s tight, wet, gurgling chirps or sub- to super-sonic EDM filter sweeps, the Ladditude delivers in spades. Where Expression pedal control of the filter frequency further adds to the fun!"
Controls - CV Threshold Level | On/Off, Frequency, Resonance Level | High / Low, EXP Sweep, Drive, Level, Filter Polarity Footswitch, Engage / Bypass Footswitch.
Quoted from a user :
"I haven’t found an envelope filter, autowah, or any other effect pedal on the market that can replicate the throaty, resonant, warm growl of the Moog synth until I received the Lattitude (SIC). Sonically, it’s remarkable and it’s much easier to dial in than other filters I’ve tried. Just amazing. TWA is making incredible effects"
TWA definitely has a knack for selecting the most impactful Control Topologies - which delivers complex outputs via the simplest of means. You essentially have 6 fully variable controls plus 3 x binary switches.
There’s been quite a few Filter pedals of late derived from either the Korg MS-20 or Mooogerfooger MF-101. The source origin for the Ladditude is not mentioned - while several of the controls are very similar. So I’m guessing that the LF-01 is somewhat MF-101 inspired!
I’ve always found TWA effects to be dynamic and expressive - and learning toward the warmer side of tonality. This Ladditude is exactly the kind of effect you would expect TWA to excel at. I think many will find their way to this pedal - while there’s also relatively stiff competition out there as of this moment. In fact I just recently featured the not altogether dissimilar Zorg Love Filter.
The TWA LF-01 Ladditude Envelope-Controlled Resonant Filter - is available from the TWA Webstore - where it goes for $299 / €294 / £240.
