Team KMA brings on the festive cheer with a significant ENDGAME V2 Firmware Release - just in time for Christmas!
The ENDGAME Duality Calibrator - ultimate end-of-chain Stereo Tone Enhancer with True Stereo Double Tracking, Celestion IR’s and Power Amp Simulation was first announced during Winter NAMM - al the way back in January of this year. And ever since then, the KMA Machines team has been working hard to make this killer tone-enhancer pedal even better - in fact it’s a significant upgrade which has taken the best part of a year to program and evolve.
There are several updates - which I’ve distilled into 3 key areas :
- We now have a brand new MacOS and MS Windows ENDGAME Updater - which allows you to easily manage and update new firmware releases. And there are plans afoot to most likely evolve that to a Control App as a later evolution - TBC.
- Originally, the ENDGAME only supported Cabinet Impulse Response files with a 48 kHz Sample rate (up to 500 ms). Now, in addition to 48 kHz KMA have added support for 44.1, 88.2 and 96 kHz IRs (up to 500 ms).
- Finally, for the AI-driven True Double Tracker Algorithms - users wanted to be able to fine-tune those settings a little more to their preferences, and so you can now make further Adjustments to the Doubling Timing and Levels, by making use of secondary functions on the TDT Width knob.
Controls - Bluetooth Pairing, Headphones Level, XLR Ground Lift, XLR Output Level : Mix +4, True Double-Tracking Width, AUX Mix, True Double Tracking : Pre/Post, CAB IR : Off / V30 / GNBK / CMBK / U-A / U-B, Ambience, Dual IR Cabinet Simulation : Pre/Post, Input Gain ±24dB, Doubler Footswitch, FX Loop Footswitch.
Ports - USB-C for IR-Loading, 9V DC [-] 490mA, Mini TRS AUX In, Stereo XLR Out, Mini Headphones Out x 2, TRS / TS Line Out - L+R, Input + Thru 1/4", Stereo FX Loop L+R Send - L+R Return.
The ENDGAME was already a really unique and potent end-of-chain enhancer, and it's even more powerful now. The Firmware releases are entirely FREE - while of course you need to first acquire the device - which goes for €399 / $379 / £299 courtesy of select international dealers.
