Boss teams up with DIY to host IN THE LOOP Looping Masterclass at Studio 9294, Hackney Wick on October 13th
There are special performance techniques to getting the most out of looper pedals - or more specifically Boss Loop Stations in this instance - where the international Ambassador of that art is still most likely Ed Sheeran - who typically has tended to favour a custom variety of the Boss RC-20 Loop Station.
Other notable ’masters of the loop’ include luminaries KT Tunstall, Claudio Passavanti (Doctor Mix), Chris Woods, David Torn, Ed O’Brien, Jacob Collier, Jack Garratt, Jo Quail, Pete Honoré, Sarah Lipstate, and MC Xander - each of those can really be considered a virtuoso of that art.
For the IN THE LOOP Looping Masterclass - a variety of looper experts will be present on the day - first members of the Boss Product Team - who will be co-ordinating a very limited number afternoon looping technique session - only 50 places are available. And they will be demonstrating the full Boss Loop Station Range and offering lots of insider tips and tricks.
AFTERNOON SESSION 3:30 - 17:30 (50 places)

Then later in the evening there is more of a performance led masterclass session featuring celebrated musicians Claudio Passavanti (Doctor Mix / Sunlightsquare), Jo Quail (Cellist / Composer), andChris Woods (Fingerstyle Guitarist / Composer / Educator).

The Venue is Studio 9294, at 92 Wallis Rd, Hackney Wick, London, E9 5LN - nearest Station is Hackney Wick on the North London Line Overground. I will be taking the Central Line to Stratford - and switching there onto the North London Line to Hackney Wick.
Tickets are FREE - but they are extremely limited - only 50 for the afternoon session, and 150 for the evening session - they are available on the DICE platform / App - so make sure you download that to your smartphone.
NOTE that you get option to book Afternoon session tickets - after you’ve booked your evening session - so don’t shut down before you are taken to the second stage - I missed that the first time around!
