Boss's brand new VE-22 Vocal Performer Effects Processor massively improves on 2009's VE-20
We’re steadily seeing the Boss 20-Series pedals being replaced now, and the VE-20 is the latest to get a very significant upgrade. The new VE-22 moves things on pretty massively and completely revamps and enhances the form factor, switches, knobs and overall control interface - with 3 core switches now in place of the former 2 - and really smart dedicated controls for each of the core functions - all served by a highly visibly and usable LED screen.
If you’re a singer or vocal performer of any kind the VE-22 delivers the full package for shaping and enhancing that instrument in every musical way possible. It’s essentially an entirely re-imagined pedal which properly moves things onto the next level. And the device comes with a really cool optional carry case to make sure you can take all those effects with you wherever you perform.
I love how the new device looks - which owes a little to Boss’s market leading tabletop Loop Stations. The VE-22 takes all the best innovations from those loopers too and marries them to the most perfect and controllable form factor.
