I am delighted to announce that my good friend Christos at Crazy Tube Circuits has been able to source some more of those rare NOS Germanium Transistors - so that for the first time - you can acquire any which one of the 3 constellations - or even all 3 - like me!

The very original variety - the OC45 edition has been sold out for a number of years - so there is a limited quantity of that available again. Alongside the current OC41 variety, and the very Limited Edition CV7003 (OC44) Grey Box Edition.

The incredibly short executive summary is that the OC45 is slightly brighter - so likely better for Humbuckers, the CV7003 is somewhat darker - so good for Single Coil pickups, while the OC41 is the kind of middle Goldilocks ground - neutral and well-balanced - still with plenty of character - but somewhat in-between the brightness of the OC45 and slightly darker profile of the CV7003. Some Humbucker and Single Coil players will definitely prefer the profile of the OC41. These are all beautifully richly textured, dynamic and nuanced Fuzzes with exemplary clean-up abilities - and each one is a gem in its own right. I know several players who own two varieties!
