A collaboration between AC Noises and Andrea Degli Esposti from BunkerNoise using a powerful modular synth DSP for AC Noises’ first ever stereo pedal.
This is a unique confection of conventional reverb with diffused and reflected grains - essentially adding further texture and dimension to the Reverb ambience.
The clear knobs are the conventional reverb, and the mini black ones control various aspects of the Grains. That mini-knob row is then followed by 3 switches - which set further operational parameters - Mono / Stereo etc. - as referenced in the visual.
On top of all that you get to Freeze or Loop the Reverb via the second, left-hand footswitch. For a pretty unique and modern all-round immersive reverberation experience.

I always say you need full stereo to properly benefit from the immersive nature of reverb. And the granularity of the Ricorda’s output now further allows you to shape and accentuate those reverberations.
This is a very smartly thought out device - and surely another useful textural addition to any pedalboard. This certainly goes on the wishlist - as I’m always intrigued by interesting sounding Reverbs - and particular those that are full stereo!
The Ricorda Stereo Granular Reverb + Freeze/Loop is available for orders right now from the AC Noies Webstore and at select International Dealers - where it goes for €362 | $385 | £309.
