Keyztone extends its EXchanger Pickup Enhancer Range with Cool Rekoil Minis
I’ve long been a fan of the Keyztone Exchanger - and it’s occupied my #1 pedal chain slot pretty much from launch.
It has 8 different Pickup Types / Modes :
- Hot Texas (Fender Classic 1959 SRV Strat Single Coil)
- Bright Vintage (Fender Classic 1950 Tele Single Coil)
- P90 (Gibson 1946 P90 soap bar Single Coil)
- Rockability (Gretsch 1957 Filter’Tron Humbucker)
- Modern Power (1972 DiMarzio Super Distortion High Output Humbucker)
- Classic 50th (Gibson 1962 Seth Lover PAF Humbucker)
- Wide Range (Fender 1971 Seth Lover Wide Range Humbucker)
- Supa’Clean (Piezo)
Where, as I play mostly humbucker guitars I therefore mostly use usb the first two types - Strat and Tele.
In recognition that most players will simply be focusing on the opposite type. Keyztone have evolved two Mini Rekoils - one which converts Humbucker Output to Single Coil. And the other that thickens up Single Coil to Humbucker style output.
You have only a single ’Gain’ control which either ramps up or attenuates the output - depending on whether you’re going for more of a Modern or Vintage style of output.
Pricing is spot on here too - at just €99 compared to €249 for the EXchanger. In fact the Rekoil pedals are currently offered at an introductory price of €82.50 - courtesy of the Keynote Webstore.
I will for sure be getting the white Hunbucker to Single Coil Mini Rekoil pedal at the earliest opportunity.
