With me being a pedal aficionado first and foremost - that’s obviously my main area of focus for this imminent show and the above pedal brand visual - while there is an equal amount of killer Synth brands present too - as listed below.

This London Synth & Pedal Expo is my good friend Paolo De Gregorio’s first UK Event - who always has a fantastic multi-brand Stompbox Exhibit Booth at the NAMM Shows - and has organised a series of events for several years now throughout the North American Continent. Do check out the Delicious Audio / Stompbox Exhibit site for further details including last minute brand changes and additions.

Entry to the show is entirely FREE for visitors - who are encouraged to bring their own Guitars / Instruments to the show to test the gear. While Event Partner PRS Guitars usually has some of its own Guitars present too.

Looking at the roster we see the crème de la crème of pedal and synth brands - and several of which are rarely present at UK Shows.

The venue is relatively easy to get to - while you should note that Hoxton Station is on the East London Overground Network rather than the core Tube Underground Network - meaning most will need to use a change-over station (like Whitechapel) - as I detail for my own travel preferences below!

I’m incredibly excited to be a Media Partner for the Show, and will be in attendance for the whole day. The venue is new to me personally, but looks really cool - a series of spacious Railway Arch Units. It looks like it’s going to be a magnificent show for sure - and I’m looking forward to seeing all those of you that can make it!

MOTEL STUDIOS
406-408 Long Street, Hoxton, E2 8HG
www.motelstudios.co.uk

TIMINGS : 11:30 - 17:30

Motel Studios is a multi-use venue, often used for photography and art exhibitions. It is actually composed of a series of 3 railway arches - which each correspond to a unit number - 406, 407, and 408. Where the key spaces are Studio 1 and Studio 2. For this Stompbox Exhibit, Pedals will be in Studio 1 and Synths will feature in Studio 2.

NEAREST STATION is HOXTON (approx 8 minutes walk from the venue) on the East London Overground Line.

I will be catching the Elizabeth Line from Paddington to Whitechapel, and changing there to the East London Overground Line, where Hoxton is 2 stops up from Whitechapel - just past Shoreditch High Street.

NOTE - There is some Travel Disruption on Saturday 18th of March - there is industrial action and maintenance on quiet a few of the lines - so you may need to use alternative routes - my route seems to be OK thus far.
