There seems to be something of a renaissance currently for reverse delays and reverbs, and Mojo Hand have done a great job in engineering a really neat and elegant version of Reverse Delay - which can be either pitched up or down an Octave - via slick push-button control.
Controls - Rate, Mix, Octave : Up / Down, Feedback.
The 4 controls could not be simpler - essentially standard Delay Rate and Feedback with Mix control and Octave Up / Down selector. The Mix control here is Dry/Wet Ratio for the delay - where fully CCW is no delay, and fully CW is 100% Wet. All else is wholly self-explanatory.
It would be cool to have an additional control to bypass the octave too - for even more versatility - but the pedal is for sure really great already as it is.
Nice sparkly artwork too!
And what’s more - a really reasonable price of $159. Mike Hermans’ demo below is spot on - with the perfect song choice to properly demo this pedal. I’m actually quiet taken by it - need to look up who the active UK dealers are - seems to be just Guitar FX Direct currently - so will need to wait for them to stock.
Americans can of course acquire direct from the Mojo Hand FX Webstore!
I tend to go for more fully-featured pedals - typically in the delay realm - and usually workstations with presets. While I’m actually quite taken by this one. Not sure what priority to assign it - probably not quite a must-have, but definitely a really nice-to-have for sure!
Any of you taken a fancy to this elegant delay?
