Chase Bliss UK Ambassador (as I call him!) the honourable Doug Tolley - will be hosting a ’Pedal Party’ at his local Truck Music Store in the Woolgate Shopping Centre, Market Square, Witney OX28 6AP TOMORROW - July 1st!
He will be joined by fellow brands : Origin Effects, Rainger FX and ThorpyFX for half a day of pedal celebrations, demonstrations and presentations.
There will be several other Pedal Builder and Industry luminaries there on the day including Markus Reeves (Reeves Electro) and Steve Dennis (FX Pedal Planet).
The Truck Music Store is the sponsor and host location for this get-together, where auteur Nick Rees will be filming the occasion.
The structure of the event is as follows :
This event is inspired by the Doolin Arts Hedge School Pedal Workshop (Ireland) where Doug wanted to replicate something similar on his home turf of Witney.
Based on who is involved - this should be a fantastic experience - no further promotion or convincing should be necessary!

I will of course be travelling in for the day from Paddington - where the nearest Train Station to Witney is Hanborough - on South Western Railways out of Paddington - with a journey time of around 1 hour - and then a circa 10 minute taxi ride to the Woolgate Shopping Centre in Witney.
These events for me are really just like extended family reunions - I mostly go for the people - and I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone - hopefully see you there!
The event is entirely free to attend - no registration or RSVP is required - just turn up!
Fantastic Poster Art by Eric Nyffeler who does most of the Chase Bliss Graphic Design nowadays - including all those brilliant recent Field Guide Manuals (with Scott Harper), he also designed the very cool looking OBNE Float Dual Filter Pedal (as below) which I have and love - and yes the artwork added to that pedal's appeal!
