Empress Effects rolls out a rare 500 Limited Run Black Sparkle Edition of its Best-in-Class ParaEQ MKII Deluxe
Despite my well documented exile from Empress Effects, I do still very much love a number of their fine pedals - and probably none more so than my always-on ParaEQ MKII - which was actually my last involvement with that brand.
Empress now have a new Digital Marketing Specialist - one Zak Aubin, and despite what differences there may be between Empress and myself - I will always give everyone a fair shake! And so I’m delighted to announce this Limited 500 Run Black Sparkle Edition of my favourite EQ pedal.

The internals of the Sparkle Black Edition are the exact same as before - it’s just a different, and for some a prettier colourway. I really like both editions - so I’m still very happy with my original Sky Blue Edition. Which visually reflects and represents - the clarity, expansiveness and extremely low noise floor of this EQ circuit!
